If you change your plans and decide to stay longer, you must extend your insurance so your coverage matches your new travel dates. You extend and pay through the EGI Student Zone.
Extension rates
- Standard Plan: included for the first 120 days, then $2.50 per day
- Upgrade Plan: $2 per day
Payment is taken through Stripe in US dollars, and your extra coverage is not active until the payment has been processed. There are no refunds for unused extensions if you go home early.
Note: It is your responsibility to keep your insurance dates matching your travel dates.
