Visa sponsor information

Who your visa sponsor is, their contact details, and staying in touch with them.

Last updated June 17, 2026

The US Department of State designates visa sponsors, who support and take responsibility for you while you are in the United States. Resort Leaders partners with resorts that are vetted by the visa sponsor to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

It is mandatory for you to know who your visa sponsor is and how to contact them.

Who is my visa sponsor?

Resort Leaders works with several visa sponsors. Check your Resort Leaders profile to see which one is yours. Your sponsor issues your DS-2019 and is responsible for you throughout your program, so keep their details handy.

Staying in contact with your sponsor

It is vital that you stay in contact with your visa sponsor when you arrive in the United States and throughout your program. Each sponsor has its own preferred way of communicating, whether by phone, email, or their own system. You must respond within 24 hours of any request they make. If you ignore these requests, you may face program termination.

Validate your arrival

When you arrive in the US, your sponsor requires you to confirm your arrival, usually within a few days of landing. The exact deadline and how to do it depend on your sponsor, so follow the instructions in the visa section of your profile. This matters: if your sponsor does not hear from you in time, they may have to report you as a No Show, which can affect your current and future visa status.
