All you need to know about the criteria to become a returner with Resort Leaders.

How do I know if I’m a returner?

If you’ve been to a resort in America with Resort Leaders before and have a placement at the same resort already, you are a returner.

If I was a Resort Leaders participant in the past, but would like to change my resort, am I a returner?

No. You can still be a participant on our program and apply for a new resort, but you will be categorized as a "Returnee-First Timer (RFT)" You can apply for positions at our other resort partners and take part in our fairs as you did as a "First Timer (FT)"

Am I eligible to go with Resort Leaders if I used a different agency before?

Yes. Anyone who has previously been to a resort and is still a full-time student is eligible to apply regardless of your previous agency.

If this is my second year, are there any visa restrictions?

No. As long as you meet the background check and student status criteria there are no visa restrictions for second-year returners.

If I'm returning for my third-year (or more), will I be able to get a J-1 visa?

Yes. As long as you meet the background check and student status criteria there are no visa restrictions for 3+ year returners.
