What is Resort Leaders?

Resort Leaders is a safe and all-inclusive work and travel opportunity for young people who would like to experience living and working abroad in the hospitality & tourism industry.

The Resort Leaders brand is for those who serve others, starting with the people behind it. We provide a top-notch customer journey, and our five-star service inspires our participants to do the same. We're Leaders in our industry.

When can I start my program?

Most resorts look for you to begin your program in May/June, September or December. Specific dates will depend on your student status.

How long does my program last?

Resort placements can be 3-4 months for the Summer Work & Travel Program or up to 12 months for the Intern & Trainee Program. After your placement contract ends, you have up to 30 days to travel around America.

Do I get paid?

Yes. How you are paid depends on which position you are hired as. Check out each of our resort profiles for the current position openings and pay rates. Some positions may have set criteria when it comes to your level of English or past work experience in a specific department.

Who else will I be working with?

Resorts hire staff both from the US and from all over the world. The age range of resort staff varies too. When living in the provided accommodation, your roommate could be a US college student or another international staff member from across the globe!

Who are Resort Leaders?

At Resort Leaders, our purpose is to inspire people to go further and embark on life-changing cultural exchange. The Resort Leaders team will expertly match you with a resort that is looking for your skills and provide endless support from the second you sign up, to the moment you land back in your home country after your program. We're here to help you throughout your entire cultural exchange journey.

Why do I need Resort Leaders?

When you go to work at a resort in the United States you’ll be traveling on a J-1 Cultural Exchange Visa. To get this visa, you need visa sponsorship. Resort Leaders is a leading agency who will organize this sponsorship.
