Trainees
This J-1 program is designed for young professionals 18 years of age or older with a university degree and at least one year of professional experience, or five years of related work experience. Returners
1) A participant transitioning from Intern to Intern can repeat as many times as they are eligible. The participant must wait one year between the end date of the previous training and the start date of the new training.
2) Department of State regulations state that a participant transitioning from Trainee to Trainee must wait two years between the end date of the previous training and the start date of the new training.
